Our History

Built in Chicago Since 1974

Windy City Engineering Inc. was founded in 1974 on the South Side of Chicago. Our first location was a small warehouse at 3001 S. Broad Street, where we began rebuilding cylinder heads and performing light engine block work.

As the business grew, so did our capabilities. What started as a small engine rebuilding operation expanded over the decades to better serve our customers and the changing needs of the automotive and engine rebuilding industry.

Today, as Windy City Engine & Parts, we continue that tradition by supplying professionally remanufactured and reconditioned engine components for domestic, import, and diesel applications.

More than 50 years later, the foundation remains the same: experience, quality workmanship, and dependable engine parts.
